It is a pleasure to present a static PARAPION verticalizer. It is a device that enables verticalization of people with paresis of lower limbs and trunk.
Taking up by a disabled person a straight erect position, is conducive to better functioning of the entire human system, prevents bedsores, controls and allows to restore the correct function of most internal organs.
The use of PARAPION verticalizer is very straightforward, nevertheless very safe, solid and esthetic. Thanks to its virtues, it can be used both in home rehabilitation and hospital wards as well as retirement homes.
The PARAPION verticalizer gives the user the feeling of safety, which is thanks to:

  • feet stabilizer (belts with Velcro tapes and heel holders secure feet against slipping)
  • knees stabilizer (there is a comfortable anatomically shaped holders as well as belts fastened by the means of Velcro tapes)
  • pelvic and chest holders (soft upholstery holders, fastened by means of Velcro tapes and additionally secured by belts).
  • On top of that and as standard equipment, there is a table with height control. It will certainly be useful for a book, cup, notebook, etc. Taking into consideration the work of the carers, the device is fitted with four turning wheels, thanks to which the movement of the vericalizer does not require excessive force. Each of the four wheels is equipped with a brake which gives the feeling of stability and safety while stopped.
    Back handles are an additional advantage of PARAPION. They are equipped with ergonomic grips that make it easier for the carer of a disabled person to maneuver the vericalizer. The design and dimensions of the vericalizer make it possible for a disabled person to enter the device with a wheelchair and verticalize on his/her own.
    Device can be applied in the following cases:
  • paralysis of lower limbs
  • four-limbs paralysis
  • multiple sclerosis
  • advanced diseases of demyelination
  • fourth period of rheumatic disease
  • infantile cerebral palsy
  • meningomyelocele
