There is no doubt any more that the ability to take up by a disabled person a straight up erect position, and on top of that, the possibility of rehabilitation in that position as well as the ability to move on one's own, is essential both for physiological reasons and from the psychological point of view. Taking up the erect position and making it possible to cyclically change the load of a muscular-skeleton system is conducive to better functioning of the entire organism, prevents bedsores, helps fight osteoporosis, regulates and helps restore correct function of most internal organs, helps prevent or minimize cricks and cramps of pelvic, knee and ankle joints.

 

With great pleasure we would like to present a static-rehabilitation-dynamic PARAMOBIL verticalizer - the first Polish verticalizing device with such a scope of abilities. The verticalizer was made in a solid, esthetic and ergonomic way. Its use is straightforward and safe, it has rich standard and optional equipment, it is very useful both in hospital wards and at home rehabilitation. The PARAMOBIL verticalizer is designed to fit different mass and height of a patient. We offer two adult versions and one designed for children. The detailed size table has been specified in the patient's measurement sheet.

Static function - passive verticalization of the patient and maintaining of the optimal and stable position of the patient, who is supported in all trouble spots (feet, knees, hips, chest, back). Wide functional clamping rings with chest and pelvic holders support and stabilize the patient in the upright position.

Feet stabilizer secures feet against slipping thanks to tightening belts and heel clasps. Knees are stabilized with comfortable, anatomically shaped holders and secured with belts fastened by Velcro tapes.

The application of handles as well as arm supports gives the patient the feeling of confidence. Sturdy locks of the pelvic and chest clamping rings guarantee total security of the patient (dual securing system).

Dynamic function – makes it possible for a person with paresis of lower limbs to move around. The application of arm supports makes it easy to steer the verticalizer as well as improves patient's feeling of security. Forearms rest on padded and anatomically shaped supports. The feet separator that we offer is padded with soft upholstery, which eliminates possible abrasion or injury of lower limbs. It should be used in case of the patient having a susceptibility to cross his/her feet in order to avoid that pathological position. This version is also equipped with pelvic and chest clamping rings with holders, which gives the user of the verticalizer the feeling of security.

 

Rehabilitation function - this function enables active rehabili-tation of the patient's lower limbs in the upright position. The device was equipped with a saddle with the possibility of adjusting its height as well as a lower limbs rotor (electro -mechanical).
